Had to sadly take my car to Bathwick tyres last weekend as I had a puncher which was highly annoyng as I was all ready for a trip out. When I arrived they saw to me straight away and as I was with my 8 month old son they let me sit in the office while they changed my tyre,also while my car was up on the jacks they noticed my other front tyre needed changing so did that one for me as well!
The cost well...... My car was due a service and its MOT. Where shall i take it i thought?
My neighbour suggested i try Rydon Garage in Bideford as he had excellent experiences with them.
I rang and booked my car in, no problem with leaving it outside before they opened, a safe place to deposit keys. Malcolm the mechanic called me within two hours to say that my car had been given a clean bill of Health and was ready , when i was, for collection. On collecting my car Malcolm talked me through what had been done during the service and the odd little jobs that had been done for the MOT. He presented me my bill which was less than i thought and Thanked me for my custom. What a pleasant place to do business with.My car was due a service and its MOT. Where shall i take it i thought?

Frank Bottomley offers a no nonsense easy to understand approach to any of your car servicing needs, none of this mechanic speak its all easy to understand here. As a woman it is often quite difficult to go into places like this, however Kirkhams in Bideford is not like the normal tyre place. The men are helpful and don't make me feel like a fish out of water. They are also very reasonably priced.
As it is positioned just over the bridge out of town, I usually take a walk into town, do a bit of shopping and go back to collect the car, so it makes for quite an enjoyable morning or afternoon.
They also do exhausts and emergency puncture repairs roadside for a reasonable cost.
