Bideford is spoilt with a choice of hairdressers - I try to go to a different one every time. I wasn't disappointed when I left here, thats for sure! The young girl was really lovely and chatty, offered me a drink - hot or cold, listened carefully to what I wanted, and I felt really relaxed. I'm not keen on small talk, but that wasn't an issue here, the whole experience was very relaxing and I felt wonderful when I left, even though I was off to do the weekly shop.Bideford is spoilt with a choice of hairdressers - I try to go to a different one every time. I treat myself to a haircut every...ohhhh....6 months! And this is the place I go to. Its a bit pricey, but they always do a good job, and I leave feeling thoroughly pampered. The hairdressers are friendly and chatty, but not too chatty - because that always puts me off. Drinks are always offered, and another thing that I like is that it feels private, you don't get lots of passer-bys stopping and staring in the window.I treat myself to a haircut every...ohhhh....6 months! As a gent with not a lot of hair a vist to the Hairdressers has become a standing joke in my household. Still it was time to trim around the edges, so to speak, Now as men we have this thing when we go off to the barbers and sit around waiting for an hour or two until its our turn. I called Tonys hairdressers to check their opening times and was delighted to find that at last an appointment system was in place at a Barbers shop. I booked my appointment and off i went, my wife expecting me to be gone for hours !!.
I arrived to find a clean bright large salon where the brothers Luongo where busy with customers, Plenty of room to sit and wait and lots of loverly newspapers to read. I recieved personal and attentive service and a really good gents haircut. The price was also a very pleasant surprise a mere snip of what i had previously paid. On leaving i booked another appointment as this is wonderful no sitting around waiting. My wife was surprised to see me so early and was delighted with my trim. i have finally found a salon, and a hairdresser that cuts my hair just as i want. Alison, Jackie and their team are a great bunch of ladies. Always very friendly and welcoming when i walk through the door, and there's always that important cup of tea too. Thought the price was very reasonable as the price for a mens hair cut is only Â£5.
